About Me

I’m mostly a self-taught artist, though I took a few art classes in college (and after) that helped spark new directions in my work. My professional background is in music. I’m a pianist as well as a guitar and piano teacher, and that creative rhythm often finds its way into my paintings. Growing up in a military family meant moving often, and each new place I called home shaped my sense of curiosity and appreciation for different landscapes. A few years ago, I settled in the Madison area, where I’ve found inspiration in the changing seasons, friendly people, and endless charm of the Midwest.
